Online registration of employments

Purpose
The software application for online registration of employments simplifies the procedure for mandatory registration and termination of employments within all legal entities in Macedonia other than state institutions. The new system provides efficient, easy, simple and cost and time-effective process for employment registration with the Employment Service Agency (ESA).

Application functionalities
The application enables the employers to create and post job announcements, and subsequently register the selected employees by filing a simple registration form. By filing another form, employers may terminate employments. In addition, the system provides a possibility for employers to review and print a list of all registered employees within the company.

The system provides the employees with an opportunity to check at any time their current personal employment status, as well as review historic data on previous employments.

Users
The system is used by employers, employees, counters of the ESA, as well as the state institutions that use the employment registration data for their operations.

Status
The system was launched in December 2008.

eGov Project Actively Promotes eGov Applications

During April and May 2009, the eGov Project organized presentations of its applications in Skopje, Tetovo, Shtip, Bitola and Kavadarci. The presentations were attended by over 1200 representatives of business community public institutions as potential users of EXIM, e-Procurement, e-Tax and Employment Registration applications.

eGov Project Launched the New Online System for Registration of Employments - December 3, 2008

The eGov Project assisted the Employment Agency (EA) in developing and implementing an e-government application that allows companies in Macedonia to electronically register new employees or deregister departing employees, saving the companies time and money. This new on-line process will particularly benefit companies with frequent employee turnover, for example, companies that employ seasonal workers. The system was launched at a public event held on December 3, 2008 in Skopje and is available at https://www.avrm.gov.mk/PrijavaOdjava.
